The report says the club’s leadership still has full confidence in the Dutch manager and is not considering a change on the bench.
Instead of looking for a replacement, the Merseyside club are said to be preparing to support Slot in the summer transfer window. The plan is to build a squad that better matches the coach’s tactical ideas and gives him the players he needs for next season.
At the moment, "Liverpool" sit fifth in the Premier League table after 31 rounds. The team are five points behind fourth-placed "Aston Villa", making the race for a Champions League place more difficult in the final stretch of the campaign.
"Liverpool" now turn their attention to the FA Cup, where they will face "Manchester City" away from home in the quarter-finals on April 4. The match could become an important test for Slot as the club tries to stay alive in cup competition while pushing for a stronger league finish.
