The prestigious “Turkish Open” international taekwondo WT competition is in full swing in Antalya, Turkey. Athletes from all over the world are participating in this tournament, and members of the Uzbek national team are also taking part in it, delighting fans.
The women's competitions held on the last day were especially effective. The representatives of our national team demonstrated high skill and determination, winning a total of three medals.
The gold medal was won by Ozoda Sobirjonova, who participated in the -67 kg weight category. She confidently defeated her rivals in the decisive battles and took the top step of the podium.
The silver medal went to Sevinch Hayitova in the -62 kg weight category. She successfully participated in all the competitions leading up to the final and showed worthy resistance in the decisive match.
Also, in the +73 kg weight category, Svetlana Osipova won the bronze medal. Her determination and experience in the fights once again paid off.
These results show that the Uzbek taekwondo school is further increasing its prestige in the international arena. Fans are watching the further performances of our athletes with great hope and interest.
