On April 10 of this year, another meeting of the Disciplinary Committee under the UzPFL was held. This was officially reported by the League’s press service.
During the meeting, violations of the rules recorded up to this period in matches of the Uzbekistan Super League and the U-21 championship were thoroughly reviewed, and appropriate decisions were made.
The main attention was focused on the conflict situation that arose after the 5th-round Super League match between “Bunyodkor” and “Lokomotiv”. After the end of this match, a dispute arose between representatives of both teams, which became the subject of wide public discussion.
The situation was examined in a special procedure, and all materials were analyzed by the Inspection for Control of Football Activities of the UFA. Video recordings, witness statements, and referee reports were also reviewed.
According to the results of the investigation, a conflict occurred after the match between Bunyodkor’s scouting coach Bek Abdullaev and Lokomotiv player Abdullah Yuldoshev, in which player Narimon Akhmadjonov also got involved, resulting in minor bodily injuries.
It was also noted that in the 62nd minute of the match, Yuldoshev committed a rough foul against Akhmadjonov and received a yellow card for it. Later, this episode led to an escalation of the conflict, which eventually turned into a post-match fight.
National Guard officers intervened in the situation and took the participants to a police support station. Later, after both sides stated that they had no claims against each other, they were released.
After reviewing all materials, the committee made the following decisions:
— a fine was imposed on the “Bunyodkor” football club;
— a fine was also imposed on the “Lokomotiv” football club;
— a fine was applied to Bek Abdullaev;
— Narimon Akhmadjonov was suspended for 3 matches;
— Abdullah Yuldoshev was also suspended for 3 matches.
The League notes that such cases once again demonstrate the importance of maintaining discipline in football and strictly following the rules.
