Futsal: BMB PFC clinches championship title ahead of schedule

The winner of the XXIX National Futsal Championship of Uzbekistan for the 2025/2026 season has been determined earlier than expected. The defending champion, Jizzakh's BMB PFC, has once again demonstrated its dominance, officially clinching the prestigious title of national champion for the fourth time.
It was anticipated that the Jizzakh side would defend their title during this round. However, the situation depended not only on their results but also on the points dropped by their rivals. Nodir Eliboyev's players performed their task at a high level, securing confident victories in two matches, while a technical victory was recorded in another contest.
At the same time, their primary competitors made critical errors in the title race. Notably, the Oil Star team lost points in a pivotal match, effectively ending the "bankers'" pursuit of gold medals. On the following matchday, the Bukhara region team was also forced to abandon its championship ambitions.
The futsal players of Oil Star, the reigning national vice-champions, failed to achieve the expected result in their match against the Karshi side. In an intense and captivating encounter, Nasaf secured a 1-1 draw, eliminating the final mathematical intrigue regarding the championship title.
Thus, BMB PFC secured the championship ahead of schedule, thanks to both their consistent performance and capitalizing on the mistakes of their opponents. The team proved itself as a true leader this season, once again asserting its dominance on the national futsal stage.
