The match between OKMK and Lokomotiv (2:1) in the 10th round of the Super League was quite interesting and full of struggle for the fans. Following the match, the Tashkent team's head coach Mirko Yelichich shared his thoughts at a press conference.

The coach noted that the game was pleasant in terms of content. In his opinion, both teams played open football without retreating into defense and fought for victory until the end. This provided a true football spectacle for the spectators.

At the same time, Yelichich did not hide his dissatisfaction with the mistakes his team made during set-piece situations. He stated that conceding two goals specifically from set pieces was a very heavy blow for the team. However, he noted that there were opportunities to score more goals during the match, but luck was not on their side today.

The coach emphasized that defending during set pieces is a very complex process. In his view, small details and quick decisions determine everything in such moments. The ball arrives in a short period, requiring players to take the correct action instantly.

Yelichich also specifically praised the opposing team, OKMK. He noted that they act accurately and effectively in set-piece situations, having established this aspect correctly for a long time. Meanwhile, he openly stated that despite having 4-5 tall players in his own team, they lack stability in such situations.

The head coach also raised serious objections regarding the condition of the stadium where the match took place. According to him, it is very difficult to demonstrate quality football at the TTYMI stadium. It was noted that the poor condition of the pitch hinders quick combinations, short passes, and counter-attacks.

Additionally, he pointed out that the unpredictable bounce of the ball is also negatively affecting the tempo of the game. This prevents the team from fully implementing their planned tactical movements.

In conclusion, Yelichich stated that the club's stadium has not yet been commissioned, which is why the possibility of changing the situation is currently limited. However, hope was expressed for positive changes in the team's play once the new stadium becomes operational.

In short, Lokomotiv lost not only on the scoreboard but also in certain details. However, the team has potential, and if the shortcomings mentioned by the coach are addressed, results may not be long in coming.
