Head coach Luis Enrique made nine changes to the starting lineup ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich.
In particular, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia were left on the bench, while Vitinha was not included in the squad at all. Instead, new names such as 19-year-old goalkeeper Renato Marin and young defender Pierre Mungenge took the field.
