In an interview with Marca, Henry stated that it is wrong to choose one over the other. "Why do people try to separate them? You can just enjoy their game. I played with Leo and emotionally I prefer him, but that doesn't mean I have to go against Cristiano. Both are like aliens standing at the pinnacle of football," said the former French striker.
Henry highlighted not only their talent but also their ability to maintain a high level for many years. According to him, the fact that both players have remained at the top of world football for nearly two decades is a product of strict discipline and hard work.
