Uzbekistan squad announced for Chess Olympiad in Samarkand

The official squads for the Uzbekistan national teams have been announced ahead of the highly anticipated 46th Chess Olympiad. The major international tournament will take place this September in Samarkand.
As hosts, Uzbekistan will participate with a large contingent. It is noted that the country will field three teams each in the open and women's categories.
The greatest attention is naturally focused on the first men's team, which features Nodirbek Abdusattorov, one of the brightest stars in world chess, and Javohir Sindarov, who has been causing major sensations recently.
The first team of the Uzbekistan men's squad is as follows:

The level of competition in the women's national team is also notably high. Afruza Khamdamova leads the first team, with skilled players such as Umida Omonova and Gulruhbegim Tokhirjonova also securing spots in the main lineup.
