Major changes are expected at Real Madrid. The club's management is seriously considering the option of bringing back José Mourinho as head coach to replace Alvaro Arbeloa. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
According to Sky Sports, the Portuguese specialist is currently the primary candidate. The club's CEO, José Ángel Sánchez, is the initiator of this move and has already begun negotiations with the coach's representatives.
The Athletic notes that Florentino Pérez also supports Mourinho's return. However, the 63-year-old coach has set two main conditions for his return: full control over transfers and the right to make independent decisions regarding squad formation.
Currently managing Benfica, José Mourinho has refused to give a definitive promise regarding his future. His contract includes a €3 million release clause, which Real Madrid could pay to bring the coach on board this summer.
