Haaland says Manchester City will turn championship pain into strength

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland did not hide his emotions after dropping points in the decisive phase of the season. The Norwegian forward emphasized that the team must draw the right conclusions and put all their effort into reclaiming the Premier League title next season.
In the 37th round, Manchester City drew 1-1 away against Bournemouth. This result was a heavy blow for the 'Citizens' as this specific point loss paved the way for Arsenal to secure the title early.
Haaland saved his team from defeat in this match, scoring an equalizer in the 90+5th minute. However, this goal was not enough to keep City's title hopes alive.
"In the end, we knew every game in the Premier League is difficult. We tried, but it wasn't enough. Now the whole club must use this as motivation. We need to be angry, we need to have fire inside us, because this is not enough," Haaland told the club's press service.
It is clear from the Norwegian striker's words that Manchester City does not want to accept second place this season as a standard result. Haaland says the hunger for victory and the pain within the team must intensify.
"Two years have passed, but it feels like an eternity. We will do everything in our power to win the title next season," he added.
With one round left in the season, Manchester City is in second place with 78 points. Arsenal has secured the Premier League title early with 82 points.
In short, this season is ending painfully for Haaland. But such pain sometimes becomes the fuel for the next big victory. City lost the title, but from Haaland's words, it is clear: the revenge mode in Manchester has already been activated.
