The final round of matches in Group F of the Uzbekistan Cup has concluded, determining the teams advancing to the play-offs. The decisive games in the group were high-scoring, intense, and exciting for the fans.
Navbahor hosted FarDU at home, securing a convincing 4:1 victory. With this result, the Namangan side finished 1st in the group with 7 points and advanced to the Round of 16.
Shohrux Abdurahmonov opened the scoring in the 25th minute. Navbahor increased their dominance in the second half. Alex Fernandes found the net in the 74th minute. In the 84th minute, Muhammadali Giyosov converted a penalty to extend the lead, and Shohmalik Komilov added the fourth goal in the 88th minute.
FarDU managed a consolation goal late in the game. Murod Komilov scored in the 90+2nd minute to make it 4:1, but it did not affect the outcome. Navbahor achieved their goal and advanced as group winners.
Another high-scoring match took place between Qoraqalpogiston FA and Xorazm. In a game featuring 9 goals, Xorazm won 6:3, finishing 2nd with 7 points and securing their play-off spot.
For Xorazm, Danil Nugumanov opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Rustam Abduhamidov doubled the lead in the 17th, and Bubakar Traore added another in the 37th. In the second half, Aziz Ahrorov scored a brace in the 72nd and 74th minutes. Sultonboy Ismoilov netted the sixth goal in the 90+2nd minute.
For Qoraqalpogiston FA, Damir Nizanov showed great fighting spirit. He scored a penalty in the 29th minute and added two more in the 85th and 90+3rd minutes to complete a hat-trick, but his individual performance was not enough to save his team from defeat.
