"Winning the Premier League was one of my childhood dreams. The moment the final whistle blew in the Bournemouth vs Manchester City match was our happiest moment. Everyone — the coaching staff and the players — celebrated together. Walking through the city, I realized how much this victory meant to the fans," said Riccardo Calafiori.
The defender also touched upon his adaptation process under Mikel Arteta. According to him, the English league differs fundamentally from Italy's Serie A in terms of work ethic and match intensity. He emphasized that the club's patience with the coach and belief in a long-term project ultimately paid off.
Currently, the London club is focusing on the Champions League final against the Parisian side. Riccardo Calafiori added that the weekly training routine and recovery processes are at the highest level in Europe, which is crucial for maintaining physical condition.
