Bayern joins the race for an 80 million euro striker

After failing to secure the transfer of Anthony Gordon, Bayern Munich has turned its attention to a young Premier League star. According to reports, the German giants are considering AFC Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi. The 19-year-old talent has caught the eye of many top clubs with his technical skill and composure. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Junior Kroupi's transfer will not come cheap for Bayern. Bournemouth values their talented player at at least 80 million euros. The player's current contract runs until 2030. Teams such as Barcelona, Manchester City, and Arsenal are also expected to join the race for his signature.
Legendary French striker Thierry Henry has spoken highly of Junior Kroupi. "I am not surprised by his development. I wanted to call him up to the youth national team when he was just 16. When I see the natural talent and determination in him, his age becomes irrelevant," Henry noted.
Kroupi began his career at the French club Lorient and made his Ligue 1 debut at 16. After joining Bournemouth, he proved himself in the Premier League, scoring 13 goals in 33 matches last season. He is a versatile player capable of playing both as a central striker and on the wings.
Bayern management sees Kroupi as competition for Luis Diaz and a worthy successor to Harry Kane. Previously, the Munich side wanted to sign Anthony Gordon, but the Newcastle United forward is close to joining Barcelona.
