Jahongir O‘rozov Joins Rubin: A New Chapter and Major Financial Leap

Jahongir O‘rozov, a defender for Samarkand’s Dinamo, will test himself in the Russian Premier League. O‘rozov has joined Rubin from Dinamo on loan, making a major financial leap. A new chapter is beginning in Russia.
Rubin’s press service also officially announced the move on the club’s website.
“Jahongir is a player for the Uzbekistan national team. This summer, O‘rozov took part in the World Cup with his national team. Welcome!” the statement said.
He will play on loan until the end of 2026. The 22-year-old defender has been given the No. 13 shirt.

Transfer and Financial Terms
O‘rozov has joined Rubin on loan for €100,000, with the contract including an option to buy for €700,000.
His annual salary at the new club is €450,000—four times his previous earnings.
Transfermarkt values the defender at €1.2 million.
Career and National Team Record
A product of the Bunyodkor system, he made 55 appearances and scored one goal for Dinamo.
Winner of the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup and participant in the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
He made his senior national team debut and scored his first goal in 2026.

Rubin are eighth in the Russian Premier League.
The third-round match against Orenburg will take place on August 9.
