Garmin is pushing the boundaries of multisport technology with the release of the Fenix 8 Pro - an advanced series of smartwatches. According to Rozetked, the devices feature long-awaited innovations: LTE-M, satellite communication, and even a MicroLED display.
Users can now send voice messages up to 30 seconds long, exchange text messages, share their location, check weather updates, and send SOS signals - all without connecting to a smartphone. These features operate through the Garmin InReach platform, with subscriptions starting at $8 per month. New users can access a free 30-day trial.
LTE connectivity is supported in North America, Europe, and more than 30 other countries. The remaining functionality matches that of the Fenix 8 model - familiar sensors, training modes, and navigation features.
The series includes 47mm and 51mm OLED models with battery life of up to 27 days. They are priced at $1200 and $1300, respectively. A standout version features a bright MicroLED display (4500 nits) - available only in 51mm, lasting up to 10 days on a single charge, and priced at $2000.
Official sales will begin on September 8, 2025. These watches are not just accessories, but powerful tools for athletes and travelers. Would you like to experience these features in action?
