Serious concerns have arisen around the AppCloud application, which is pre-installed on Samsung's budget models in the Galaxy A and M series. According to "Phone Arena," this program was developed in Israel and is believed to have invisible tracking mechanisms.
Tests showed that AppCloud is too deeply connected to the operating system. Most importantly, it is impossible to completely erase it. Even if the user temporarily blocks, the program will remain on the device and will automatically activate again as the system updates. It is also noted that in some cases, the phone owner may install additional applications without knowing about them.
Experts assess such covert activity as a "direct threat to confidentiality." AppCloud's actions without user consent are putting it in a much more dangerous category than ordinary unnecessary applications.
Until now, Samsung has not made any official comments on this issue. However, the current situation increases the likelihood of Galaxy smartphone owners being controlled through AppCloud. This raises serious questions about the security of personal data, device activity, and internet activity.
