New technologies aimed at improving air quality and the ecological situation are being tested in Tashkent. According to the capital's khokimiyat, the process of testing a huge dispersion device capable of dispersing fine water microparticles into the air over long distances has begun. The administration's statement emphasized that this technology is being adapted specifically to the Tashkent climate.
This device is expected to help reduce dust in the air, humidify the air, and reduce the spread of certain harmful substances. In the world, dispersion devices of this type are said to be effective in mitigating environmental problems in large cities.
One of the first locations selected for equipment installation was the territory of Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 1, located in the Takhtapul massif of the Almazar district. Specialists are studying the technical capabilities, radius, impact, and safety indicators of the device.
The exact details of the test have not yet been announced, but the khokimiyat stated that it will provide additional information about the results and further practical steps in the coming days.
If the installation is justified, it is planned to install it in densely populated areas of the capital, especially in areas where the environmental situation deteriorates rapidly. This could be an important technological step for Tashkent's environmental sustainability and public health.
