Nvidia to release RTX 60 Rubin graphics cards in late 2027

Earlier, Nvidia was expected to unveil RTX 50 Super graphics cards in early 2026. However, according to the latest information, the company has shifted its focus to preparing the next generation — the RTX 60 series. This is reported by playground.ru reports .

As the leader in the gaming GPU market, Nvidia’s every new generation is eagerly anticipated by millions of users. That’s why any leak about the next lineup immediately sparks discussion.

According to insider Kopite7kimi, RTX 60 cards will be based on GR20x-series graphics processors. This chip relies on the Rubin architecture — the same architecture used in the company’s latest AI-focused GPUs.

Interestingly, Nvidia may not use the GR102 chip directly in the gaming segment. The insider says that the GR100 solution designed for AI and data centers will combine two GR102 chips.

Kopite7kimi also notes that the RTX 60 series will launch in the second half of 2027. This timeline could allow Nvidia to factor in the memory shortage situation and ramp up production of enough graphics cards to meet global demand.
