A new function will be launched in Telegram again. This was reported by “Beta Info”.
It is reported that with this update, the ability to copy messages in private conversations will be restricted. At the moment, it was only possible to block copying messages in channels. Soon, this option will also start working in private messages.
Thus, users will now be able to restrict not only their contacts from copying messages, but also from saving content in private chats or forwarding it elsewhere.
To enable copy protection, you need to open the contact’s profile and select the “Edit Contact” – “Block Copying” function.
At the moment, this function is available in the Telegram beta version for iOS — 12.5 (32413). However, it has not yet been fully launched.
