Nvidia is building an open AI agent platform

The world-renowned chip manufacturer Nvidia is preparing to introduce a new open-source platform designed for AI agents. This project, called NemoClaw, allows corporate clients to automate their workflows and manage intelligent agents that perform various tasks. Experts note that this platform will also be open to companies that do not use Nvidia chips. Reports wired.com.

The company plans to announce this innovation ahead of its annual developer conference in San Jose. Nvidia is currently in negotiations to establish partnerships with major tech giants such as Google, Adobe, Cisco, and Salesforce. The open-source nature of the platform allows partners to use it for free in the early stages in exchange for contributing to the project.

The main advantage of the new system is that it is equipped with special tools that ensure security and privacy in a corporate environment. This is especially important for increasing the security of "claw"-type agents that operate autonomously and perform tasks without user supervision. Previously, companies like Meta had banned employees from using such agents because they could sometimes make unexpected errors.

Through this step, Nvidia is expanding its software strategy. While the company has relied mainly on the CUDA system until now, it now aims to maintain its dominance in AI infrastructure through open-source solutions. It is also expected that a new system of inference chips will be demonstrated by Nvidia in the coming days.
