Renowned entrepreneur Marc Lore, who has collaborated with Amazon and Walmart, plans to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) extensively in his Wonder project. A new initiative called Wonder Create will allow anyone, including food industry professionals and social media influencers, to create their own restaurant brand in just one minute. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
These virtual restaurants will be launched in technological kitchens owned by the Wonder network. Currently, the company has 120 such kitchens, and it plans to increase that number to 400 next year. These locations are not ordinary restaurants but "programmable cooking platforms" capable of preparing 25 different types of dishes.
The Wonder Create system features an interface similar to the Shopify platform, where users can instantly generate a restaurant name, branding, menu, prices, and recipes using AI. According to Lore, the system relies on a library containing over 700 ingredients, with robotic arms and automated equipment playing a key role in the process.
The company recently acquired Spice Robotics and plans to introduce an "infinite sauce machine" next year that will cover 80 percent of internet recipes. Lore emphasized that robotization is intended to increase efficiency rather than reduce the workforce. The goal is to manage up to 1,000 unique restaurant brands in a small space by 2035.
