Redmi K100 Flagship Smartphone: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 8500 mAh Battery and Wireless Charging
Although the launch of the new Redmi K100 series smartphones is scheduled for October, the first details about the base model have already leaked. According to well-known insider Digital Chat Station, the new device will receive significant upgrades compared to the previous generation. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
The smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 6.6-inch display and an 8500 mAh battery. For comparison, the previous model had a capacity of 7100 mAh. Wired charging speed is expected to remain at 100W, and for the first time in the series, 50W wireless charging technology may be introduced.
In discussions on the Weibo social network, users speculate that the information refers specifically to the Redmi K100, and the insider did not deny this. The device is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
Along with technical upgrades, the price of the smartphone is also expected to increase. It is estimated that the device will go on sale for around 4000 yuan (approximately $585), which is significantly higher than the starting price of the Redmi K90.
