The streaming service Spotify has launched a new feature in honor of its 20th anniversary, reflecting users' musical choices throughout their history. This feature provides interesting data such as when users joined the app, their first song played, their favorite artist, and a list of their most-listened-to tracks. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
To use the new feature, simply open the Spotify app and type “Spotify 20” or “Party of the year(s)” into the search bar. The system automatically generates a personal playlist consisting of the user's 120 most-listened-to songs and shows the total number of songs played.
Similar to the popular Wrapped feature, this update allows users to share their statistics with friends on social media. Spotify stated that this feature is available worldwide but will only be active for six weeks.
Last month, the company also announced a list of the most-streamed artists, albums, and podcasts in the platform's history, with Taylor Swift leading the rankings. For Spotify, annual reports are an important tool for increasing user engagement.
