Samsung has released the May security update for its popular mid-range models, the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A54 smartphones. This update aims to fix 36 different vulnerabilities in the system. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
The update for the Galaxy A55 is currently rolling out in Europe and carries the firmware version A556BXXSECZDE. For the Galaxy A54, the new patch has been released for international versions, specifically for users in Asia and the Middle East, including India and Saudi Arabia. The size of this version is 286.79 MB.
Usually, Samsung prioritizes its new and expensive flagship models, but this time the company managed to quickly update its Galaxy A series devices as well. Users in other regions are expected to receive this update in the coming weeks.
In the future, Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A54 owners can look forward to major updates. The devices are scheduled to be updated to One UI 8.5 and the Android 17-based One UI 9.0 interface in stages.
