Huawei smartphones to feature batteries with capacities up to 10,000 mAh

Huawei has begun testing brand-new batteries with capacities ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 mAh for its flagship and mid-range smartphones. These power sources are planned for use in the Mate 90 series, expected to be unveiled later this year. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
According to renowned insider Smart Pikachu, the Chinese tech giant is working on new technologies that could push battery capacity even beyond 10,000 mAh. Currently, the company uses 8,500 mAh batteries in the Enjoy 90 Pro Max model and 6,620 mAh in the Plus version.
Additionally, the sub-flagship Nova 16 series is expected to be equipped with 7,000 mAh batteries. For comparison, the previous Nova 15 Ultra and Pro models featured 6,500 mAh batteries, while the standard version came with a 6,000 mAh battery supporting 600W charging technology.
Smart Pikachu is known for previous accurate leaks regarding devices like Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi Pad 6. This move by Huawei could set new standards for battery capacity in the smartphone market.
