8000 mAh battery and 200 MP Leica camera: Xiaomi 17 Max unveiled

Xiaomi has officially launched its new flagship, the Xiaomi 17 Max, in the Chinese market. The device is positioned as the largest smartphone in the series and the model with the highest battery capacity. Live photos of the new gadget and its packaging have been released online. The box includes the smartphone, a 100W charging block, a cable, and a protective case. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
The smartphone's technical specifications are impressive: it is equipped with a 6.9-inch 120Hz 2K SuperPixel display. The screen's peak brightness reaches 3800 nits, and the PWM frequency is 3840Hz, which helps prevent eye strain. The display is protected by Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0 and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 17 Max offers three modules created in collaboration with Leica: a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP periscope, and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. The device's main highlight, the 8000 mAh Jinshajiang battery, supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
As for pricing, the base version with 12/256 GB of memory is selling for approximately $630. The top-tier 16/512 GB variant is priced at 5,299 yuan (approximately $775). The smartphone is available in White, Sky Blue, and Pixel Black colors and features IP68 water and dust resistance.
