Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition: 7200 mAh battery and IP69 protection

Vivo has officially unveiled its new S60 smartphone series. The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition starts at $430 for the 8/256 GB model, while the 12/512 GB version is priced at $515. The standard Vivo S60 starts at $530 (12/256 GB) and goes up to $650 (16/512 GB). This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
Both models are equipped with a 6.59-inch flat screen with 1.5K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. The display features a 4320 Hz PWM frequency to prevent eye strain. The devices are 7.92 mm thick and weigh 199 grams. Additionally, the smartphones are protected against water and dust according to the IP68/IP69 standard.
The Vivo S60 model runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and features a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope module with 3x optical zoom. The Vitality Edition is powered by the Dimensity 7500 chip and lacks a periscope camera. Both models feature a 50-megapixel autofocus selfie camera.
The main highlight of the smartphones is the massive 7200 mAh battery, which supports 90W fast charging. Additional features include stereo speakers, an IR blaster, a powerful vibration motor, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Previously, it was reported that Vivo would launch a program to install high-capacity batteries in older smartphones as well.
