Xiaomi Mijia Giant Power Saver 2026: Affordable and smart air conditioner unveiled

Xiaomi has officially launched its new Xiaomi Mijia Giant Power Saver 2026 air conditioner. The device is offered in the Chinese market at a price even lower than expected—around $225 when accounting for government subsidies. The initially announced price was expected to be $280. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports.
According to the manufacturer, the new model is equipped with a double-row evaporator, a 108 mm diameter cross-flow fan, and a 9.8 cc high-efficiency compressor. The device's maximum airflow capacity is 760 cubic meters per hour, while the noise level is reduced to just 18 dB(A).
Xiaomi claims that this air conditioner is capable of cooling or heating a room within just 3 minutes of being turned on. One of the key features of the device is the Mijia Lingyun energy-saving algorithm. This technology allows for a 25.3% reduction in energy consumption, saving an average of 208 kWh of electricity per year.
The air conditioner is also equipped with a self-cleaning system that allows for washing and drying internal components at 58°C. This prevents the growth of mold and bacteria. The device is designed to operate stably in extreme outdoor temperatures ranging from -35°C to +60°C.
