Xiaomi has launched its new floor-standing Mijia Powerful Wind Vertical 3HP air conditioner in the Chinese market. The device has a starting price of 5,999 yuan (approx. $885), but thanks to government subsidies, customers can purchase it for 5,100 yuan ($750). The company presents this model as a flagship device with powerful airflow and a rapid cooling system. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The new air conditioner has an air delivery capacity of 1800 m3/h and can project airflow up to 16 meters at a 115-degree angle. The device features modes to direct airflow toward the ceiling, floor, or sides. Additionally, 140Hz UHF Power Mode technology increases cooling capacity by 32.5% and heating capacity by 26.5%.
Technically, the device is equipped with a new dual-cylinder compressor, a double-row copper condenser, and an evaporator. The model boasts high energy efficiency with an APF rating of 4.9. According to Xiaomi's estimates, this allows for energy savings of up to 660 kWh per year.
As part of its smart features, the air conditioner supports the HyperOS Connect system, offers voice control via Xiao AI, and includes over-the-air (OTA) update functionality. The device operates stably in temperatures ranging from -35°C to +65°C. For Chinese users, the manufacturer guarantees 10 years of free service.
