Aventon Trava EXP: E-bike with 190 km range and automatic transmission

Aventon has introduced the new Trava EXP touring e-bike, designed for both daily city commutes and long-distance travel. The model is available in two frame styles: classic and a step-through version for comfortable mounting. The base configuration includes fenders, a kickstand, integrated lighting, and a rear cargo rack. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

Propulsion is provided by the mid-drive Aventon Ultro S motor, featuring a peak power of 750 W and 90 N·m of torque. The manufacturer claims this electric drive can amplify the rider's effort by up to four times, ensuring easier hill climbs and reduced fatigue on long journeys.

The bike is powered by an 800 Wh battery, offering a range of approximately 190 km on a single charge. The total weight of the bike is around 28 kg. A key feature of the Trava EXP is the use of a Gates belt drive instead of a traditional chain, which requires less maintenance and operates much more quietly.

Additionally, the bike is equipped with the Enviolo Automatiq Trekking stepless transmission, which automatically selects the optimal gear without rider intervention. For enhanced comfort, it features a front suspension fork and a suspension seatpost. The manufacturer highlights the long range and the convenience of not having to shift gears manually.
