The US tech giant Amazon has decided to reduce the number of employees in its Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) division, which focuses on creating systems with human-level intelligence. In February of this year, AGI Lab head David Luan also stepped down. Currently, this direction has been transferred to the management of Senior Vice President Peter DeSantis, who is also responsible for the company's custom processor development and quantum technology divisions.
