During his visit to the Khorezm region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Regional Center for Vocational Skills built in the city of Urgench.
The complex was built with a $9 million grant from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The necessary equipment and simulation equipment for modern professions were delivered and installed. Here, 10 highly demanded specialties are taught, including automotive maintenance, welding, lifting mechanics, electronic and household appliance repair, furniture making, hairdressing and cosmetology, mobile photography, and hotel service.
For this purpose, modern training buildings, practical training rooms, a 64-bed dormitory and other auxiliary facilities have been built on an area of about 2 hectares. The institution has the ability to train 300 students per year in 6-month professional training courses.

The President visited the training rooms. He had a cordial conversation with young people studying in the hotel industry.
- We will bring Urgench airport to the world level in partnership with Incheon airport. We are building large tourism centers and hotels. Now, in order for more foreign tourists to come, the service must also be at an international level. They come for our history, our nature, and if the service is good, they will be happy. Much depends on the behavior, ethics, and level of service providers. Therefore, take advantage of this opportunity and learn the profession well. In the future, try to become an entrepreneur yourself, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The center, in cooperation with the Migration Agency, Korea's Hyundai and Germany's SBH West, has also established a specialty in servicing electric vehicles. This will allow training personnel who meet the requirements of the domestic and foreign labor markets.

International cooperation has been established widely. In January of this year, the center's management staff returned from a 2-week training course in the Republic of Korea. Currently, more than 20 teachers and trainers are undergoing training in this country.

The Head of State emphasized that qualified vocational training is the basis for industrialization and, in general, the development of the state. Instructions were given on the effective use of practical equipment, rational organization of lesson shifts, and training more young people. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
