In 2024, Uzbeks reached a record life expectancy
According to new data published by the National Statistics Committee, in 2024, the average life expectancy of the permanent population of the Republic of Uzbekistan reached 75.1 years. This indicator was 74.7 years in 2023.

Moreover, the dynamics of the population’s life expectancy over the years is as follows:

- in 1991 – 66.4 years
- in 1995 – 69.1 years
- in 2000 – 70.8 years
- in 2005 – 71.8 years
- in 2010 – 73 years
- in 2015 – 73.6 years
- in 2020 – 73.4 years
- in 2024 – 75.1 years

As can be seen, the life expectancy of the population in our country is increasing year by year. Thus, in 2024, it was recorded that Uzbeks live up to an average of 75 years.
