New opportunities are opening up for local products in Uzbekistan!
Under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the next video conference meeting was held, dedicated to discussing important tasks for further developing local industry. The meeting addressed pressing issues such as expanding the activities of textile, leather goods, and footwear manufacturers, and promoting national products among the population.

Currently, over 4,000 enterprises operate in Uzbekistan producing textiles, ready-made garments, leather goods, and footwear. This number alone indicates significant growth in the industry. However, as noted during the meeting, many unresolved issues remain in promoting these products more widely to the public and creating broader market choices.

A new initiative was introduced — the establishment of a large trade network called "Mall of Uzbekistan," where only locally produced goods will be sold. Retail space in these malls will be provided to small and medium-sized businesses at minimal rental rates. This will help popularize national products and create new opportunities for entrepreneurs.

Another important announcement was also highlighted. Previously, enterprises that employed at least 15% of their staff from low-income families were granted tax benefits — profit tax reduced to 2%, and social tax to 1%.

Now, this requirement will be simplified — the percentage of workers from low-income families will be reduced by half. In addition, employees with disabilities will also be included in the quota. This will create new opportunities for their employment and integration into society.

According to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, such measures are aimed not only at increasing sales of local products but also at supporting socially vulnerable groups.

It was noted that new shopping centers will be opened not only in the capital, Tashkent, but also in other major cities of the country, allowing residents in all regions easier access to national products.

The president gave specific instructions to company heads to implement the tasks in the shortest possible time. In response, company leaders expressed their full readiness to support these initiatives.

These decisions play a significant role not only in strengthening the position of domestic manufacturers but also in increasing employment.

In conclusion, the decisions made during this meeting will give new momentum to the development of national industry, expand opportunities for producers and entrepreneurs, and increase public trust in Uzbek-made goods. In turn, this will help strengthen the national economy and improve the quality of life for the people.
