In Uzbekistan, another significant event — President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s sincere meeting with youth — sparked great interest. Prestigious international organizations and investors also highly appreciate the potential of the country’s young people.

The president reminded that from the first days of reforms, the creation of the “science – education – innovation” chain was set as a priority. As a result of these plans, modern educational and scientific processes have been renewed, and international-standard opportunities have been created for youth. Today, it was recognized that these actions are yielding concrete results.

High results in world rankings

Among the examples cited by the head of state, a historical achievement stands out: last year, for the first time, Uzbek youth took first place in Central Asia for admission to the world’s top 500 prestigious universities. These results clearly demonstrate our youth’s competitiveness, desire for knowledge, and research spirit at the global level.

Currently, 30 young people study in the top-10 universities, more than 500 in the top-100, and more than 1,500 in the top-300 leading higher educational institutions. Such achievements show that today’s youth is becoming a leading force not only for national, but also for global development.

The foundation of New Uzbekistan — educated and progressive youth

The country’s development and position in the global arena depend primarily on the potential, thinking, and aspiration for knowledge of the younger generation. Today’s recognition, international achievements, and new opportunities give each young person faith and confidence in the future.
