Admission for a second specialty has begun: key information

For those who already have higher education but wish to study in another field, here is important news: The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has announced the start of admission for a second specialty for the 2025/2026 academic year, reported my.edu.uz.

From this year, online registration for citizens who want to obtain a second or further higher education will be conducted until August 10 through the Unified Education Services Portal of the ministry — my.edu.uz — exclusively online.

The application process is very simple:
— first, the user enters their passport information and TIN data on the portal;
— then uploads an electronic copy of their diploma and its supplement;
— next, selects the university and program they want to study in and submits the application.

The education is conducted entirely on a paid contract basis. This means the applicant will study at their own expense and not on a government-funded basis.
