On the day off, relatively cool air will enter Uzbekistan

According to updated data from “Uzgidromet”, on August 15–16 the country will mostly see partly cloudy and relatively warm weather. Only in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, in some places during the night and morning of August 16, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible — in short, despite high temperatures, the likelihood of local precipitation remains.

Temperature background: on August 15–16 mostly +30…+35°C, in the south up to +38°C. On Sunday, relatively cool air is expected to enter Uzbekistan — the temperature will drop by an average of 2–3°C.

A separate note for foothill and mountainous areas: on August 17, in some places short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible. Wind 7–12 m/s, in some locations strengthening up to 13–18 m/s, possibly accompanied by dust. Thus, even on clear-sky days it is advisable to be ready for wind and dust.

For Tashkent:
On August 15–16 mostly partly cloudy. On Sunday, August 17, the weather will be slightly cloudy, variable at times, no precipitation expected.

At night: +19…+21°C
During the day: August 15–16 +32…+35°C, August 17 +28…+30°C

Zamin.uz recommendation: maintain your hydration regimen in hot days; in areas with possible strong wind and dust, a mask (for mouth and nose) and glasses will help. The Sunday cool-down creates a more convenient “window” for workouts and walks. The weather is good — may the mood be even nicer!
