Another important step is being taken in our country to ensure the peace and tranquility of the population. In accordance with the government’s decision, in mahallas where crime is frequently recorded, a new system will be introduced to strengthen order and ensure the safety of citizens. This was reported by the government press service.
By the end of this year, special law enforcement points will begin operating in such areas. In these points, employees of internal affairs and the prosecutor’s office will carry out their activities on a permanent basis. They will start their working day exactly there and end it there as well. Through this, law enforcement agencies will have the opportunity to be closer to the population and provide faster services.
Another important innovation is that special “panic buttons” will be installed in public places and in front of multi-storey residential buildings for rapid communication. Through these buttons, citizens will be able to directly notify law enforcement agencies in emergency situations. This will help prevent offenses and make it easier to take quick action in dangerous circumstances.
In addition, a new method of working with the population will be introduced in mahallas. Special propagandists selected from the “mahalla seven” will regularly communicate with citizens and conduct explanatory work about the harm of offenses and the ways to prevent them. This will further strengthen public participation in the fight against crime.
Another measure is the collection and analysis of information every three days about families prone to conflicts and individuals who have committed offenses. Law enforcement officers will analyze this data, determine in which areas problems are most often observed, and on this basis direct preventive work.
Such measures are expected to make the organization of peace and security in mahallas more effective. The protection of the rights and interests of citizens, the strengthening of public order today remains one of the important directions of state policy.
