A new and effective program has been introduced in Uzbekistan for training unemployed individuals and members of low-income families in professions and foreign languages. Based on the government’s decision of August 20, 2025, the procedure for providing vouchers for training has been established.
According to the new decision, the costs of training unemployed members of families registered in the “Low-income Families Registry” in professions and foreign languages will be covered through vouchers. To implement this program, a special electronic system — ecosys.mehnat.uz — is in place. Through this system, applicants can apply for vouchers.
Unemployed individuals can submit applications through local administrations or directly through the ecosys.mehnat.uz system. Once the application is submitted, available job vacancies will be offered based on their qualifications within one day. If the proposed job does not meet the applicant’s qualifications or is unsuitable, the issue of providing a voucher will be considered.
Applicants will be able to use the voucher for three months. This will allow them to attend free courses for learning professions and languages.
The introduction of this program has a positive impact on the social and economic sectors and is a significant step toward reducing poverty.
