Uzbek scientists create new tool for viral eye diseases

Uzbek scientists have achieved another important breakthrough in the field of ophthalmology. Based on a completely new technology, an innovative medicinal film called “GLAZAVIR” has been created, which may mark a new era in the treatment of viral eye diseases.

According to research results, this film not only has an effective antiviral effect, but also strengthens the human immune system, accelerates the regeneration of eye tissues, and exhibits antiproliferative properties.

Scientists emphasize that “GLAZAVIR” is significantly superior to ordinary eye drops. It has high viscosity, interacts for a long time with the fluid of the cornea, and ensures an even distribution of medicinal substances in the eye. When placed under the lower eyelid, the film gradually dissolves over a set period of time, and the active substances provide prolonged action.

In addition, the use of the product is very convenient — 1–2 times a day is sufficient. The body easily accepts it, no side effects have been recorded. Most importantly, it is biodegradable and does not cause undesirable conditions in the eye.

According to specialists, the new medicinal film stands out with its high effectiveness, long-lasting action, and biological characteristics compatible with eye tissues. Therefore, it has significantly greater therapeutic advantages compared to eye drops.

It is noted that the innovative product “GLAZAVIR” can open new opportunities not only in ophthalmology but also in general directions of medicine. Scientists are confident that this discovery will mark a new stage in the fight against viral eye diseases in the country’s medicine.
