The new position of the Uzbek passport in the world ranking has been revealed

The international ranking of the Uzbek passport has been updated, and its place in the global community has been determined. This was announced in the Henley Passport Index, which is compiled based on data from the International Air Transport Association and measures the number of countries citizens can enter without a visa.

In the updated index, the passport of Uzbekistan ranked 72nd. According to this result, Uzbek citizens can visit 62 countries without a visa. The index also assesses countries' international mobility opportunities, and these indicators play an important role in determining the level of global mobility for citizens.

Singapore was identified as having the strongest passport in the ranking: it grants visa-free entry to 193 countries. Japan and South Korea shared second place - citizens of each can freely enter 190 countries. These countries offer the most favorable conditions for international travel for their citizens.

Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan's passport was considered the strongest. Kyrgyzstan ranks 71st, Uzbekistan 72nd, Tajikistan 78th, and Turkmenistan 84th. Thus, in the region, Uzbekistan is one step below Kyrgyzstan, but ahead of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

Additionally, Kazakhstan's passport outranked Azerbaijan (66), Armenia (69), and Mongolia (70). These indicators also reflect the international travel opportunities for citizens in the region.

Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria are at the bottom of the list. Citizens of these countries have the most limited visa-free travel opportunities, and it is clear that they have the least access to international mobility.

Thus, the updated Henley Index provides Uzbek citizens with a clear picture of their country's passport's international prestige and mobility capabilities. This will serve as important information for assessing citizens' opportunities in travel and international relations in the future.
