Important tasks have been defined for the development of preschool education in Uzbekistan and the creation of favorable conditions for children. By the end of this year, it is planned to create an additional 182 thousand kindergarten places throughout the country. Of these, 82 thousand are newly built institutions.
However, it was emphasized that not all aspects of the issue have been sufficiently resolved. It was noted that 255 rooms in 118 kindergartens are currently vacant and in need of repair. The fact that construction and repair work in some districts has been dragging on for two to three years was also criticized.
In particular, one kindergarten in Chimbay, Gallaaral, Kyzyryk, and Baysun districts has not yet been renovated. At the same time, it was reported that the construction of one new kindergarten in Dehkanabad, Sariosiyo, Bostanlyk, and Nurafshan districts has not been completed.
In this regard, the khokims of the regions and districts were given a clear task: it is necessary to repair the premises in 118 kindergartens, provide them with the necessary equipment, and put into operation 8 kindergartens, which have been operating for many years. Hokims were given a deadline until November 1 to complete this task.
It was warned that if the specified deadline is not followed, appropriate measures will be taken against the officials. Through this, it is evident that the government is taking a serious approach to strengthening responsibility and eliminating problems in the field.
