On September 16, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev closely acquainted himself with the projects being implemented in the "Tarakkiyot" industrial and service zone built in Yangi Namangan district.
It is known that in our country, technoparks and small industrial zones are being established in places in order to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs, expand economic sectors and ensure employment of the population. To date, a total of 73 industrial zones are operating in Namangan on an area of 1.5 thousand hectares.
Similar results are also reflected in the Sohil neighborhood of Yangi Namangan. Previously, local entrepreneurs and craftsmen worked in cramped conditions in houses, but now they have the opportunity to operate in a single area with modern infrastructure.
Based on the “Gijduvan experience,” this zone, which was created on 10 hectares of land, houses 113 large and medium-sized projects. All necessary infrastructure, such as electricity, drinking and wastewater networks, and internal roads, was built at the expense of budget funds, creating convenience for production.
As a result, it became possible to produce products and provide services worth 500 billion soums per year. Most importantly, 4,800 new jobs were created. The involvement of 170 entrepreneurs from neighboring neighborhoods and the establishment of cooperative production in more than 350 households significantly increases the economic activity of the population.
There is also an opportunity to retrain unemployed citizens using ready-made equipment and practice. This will help reduce unemployment and poverty, and improve the living standards of the population.
The President inspected service centers providing technical maintenance for cars and talked with local craftsmen.
– New automobile plants are being launched in our country. The number of cars is increasing, but service is still not enough. It is also necessary to establish a service system for foreign cars. This will increase employment and the quality of service, - said the head of state.
Therefore, instructions were given to organize such service centers in other districts and train qualified personnel.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also got acquainted with the exhibition of furniture produced by local manufacturers. Special instructions were given on gaining experience for young people, supporting entrepreneurs, and providing job opportunities.
It was emphasized that, along with working conditions, modern approaches should be taken to ensure rest, safety, and human dignity.
Information was also provided on major urban development and housing projects being implemented in Namangan. These works are of great importance in creating modern living conditions for the population and comprehensive development of the regions.
