The number of teachers serving in the general secondary education system in Uzbekistan is growing every year. According to the National Statistics Committee, at the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, the total number of teachers reached 564.9 thousand people. 2015-2016 - 385 thousand people;

2016-2017 - 390.6 thousand people;

2017-2018 - 409.4 thousand people;

2018-2019 - 444.2 thousand people;

2019-2020 - 486.6 thousand people;

2020-2021 - 508 thousand people;

2021-2022 - 510 thousand people;

2022-2023 - 521.6 thousand people;

2023-2024 - 547.8 thousand people;

2024-2025 - 564.9 thousand people.

As can be seen from these figures, in recent years the sphere of education has been expanding, and the need for teachers is growing.

The increase in the number of teachers will serve to improve the quality of education and expand opportunities for educating the younger generation. This is an important factor for the future development of the country.
