President Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the second summit in the "Central Asia - Russia" format. In it, the President put forward many initiatives aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership, developing economic cooperation, and jointly ensuring regional stability.
Specifically:
- to accelerate the implementation of jointly adopted decisions and projects, he proposed to establish a Coordination Council at the level of deputy heads of government;
- In order to increase trade turnover and facilitate the delivery of agricultural products, it was proposed to launch the "Central Asia - Russian Agroexpress" project;
- put forward an initiative to develop a Transport and Logistics Contour of our countries to harmonize national programs in the field of automobile, railway and aviation communications;
- He proposed to create an industrial engineering hub "Central Asia - Russia" in the city of Bukhara, aimed at developing and implementing advanced engineering solutions;
- "Innoprom. Central Asia" with a proposal to give it the status of the main industrial and innovation space of the region;
- initiated the creation of a Center for Regional Competencies in the field of nuclear energy in Uzbekistan, as well as the adoption of a Personnel Training Program based on the Tashkent branch of the Moscow State Engineering Physics Institute;
- He put forward an initiative to develop a comprehensive program "Energy Partnership of Central Asia and Russia," as well as to expand cooperation in the exploration and processing of hydrocarbons, the introduction of energy-saving and "green" technologies;
- He proposed the creation of a Regional Expert Council on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies, as well as the opening of branches of the Skolkovo Innovation Center in the countries;
- He put forward the idea of forming a consortium "Engineers of the Future," uniting the potential of leading universities and research centers of Central Asia and Russia, and establishing a special grant program for young researchers and scientists;
- proposed to organize an annual festival of culture, art and creativity of the peoples of Central Asia and Russia - the Ethnocultural Forum;
- noted the importance of taking joint measures to counter terrorism, extremism, cyber threats and human trafficking, and proposed holding high-level consultations on Afghanistan.
