Which professions will be prioritized in the next decade?

The development of artificial intelligence, especially applications like ChatGPT, has caused significant changes in the labor market. Although some professions are becoming automated, technological progress and social processes are also creating new jobs.

For example, e-commerce reduced labor in retail trade and increased demand in the transport and logistics sectors. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, this area will become one of the fastest-growing industries by 2034 with approximately 580,000 new jobs.

The largest growth is expected in healthcare and social services. Due to demographic changes, aging of the population, and an increase in chronic diseases, it is projected that more than 1.7 million new jobs will be created in this area.

It is also expected that the demand for home care and personal care workers will increase, creating 740 thousand new jobs. Nurses, healthcare managers, and practicing nurses are also among the most in-demand professions.

Experts note that in the next decade, professions requiring the human factor - that is, those based on communication, creativity, and emotions - will be the most stable. For this reason, it is important for young people to develop universal skills such as working with technology, analyzing, and strategic thinking.
