A $350 mln industrial zone will be built in Fergana
One of Turkestan's largest companies, "Heyal Holding," is planning to invest $350 million to build a modern industrial zone in the Kuva district of Fergana region. This was stated in an agreement reached in Istanbul between the governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, and the founder of "Heyal Holding," Vahdettin Heyal.

The new industrial zone is expected to become an important growth point for the region's economy. The project includes more than 15 multifunctional facilities, including multi-story production workshops, shopping centers, hotels, conference halls, and exhibition rooms for finished products.

The project pays special attention to technological and environmental standards. Production capacities will be built on the principle of "smart systems."

To increase energy efficiency, solar panels will be installed, and waste recycling systems will be introduced to minimize environmental impact. In addition, a vocational training center will be established to train and upskill local specialists for work in the new enterprises.

The Uzbek delegation's visit to Turkey was not limited to negotiations with "Heyal Holding." Khayrullo Bozorov also met with representatives of about 30 other Turkish companies to discuss investment prospects in the Fergana region.

The negotiations covered sectors such as automotive manufacturing, construction, jewelry, energy, and information technologies. In particular, the director of "Aktiv Group," Mehmet Nyukto, discussed opportunities to participate in projects for building new hotels and restoring historical buildings in Fergana.

"Aydin Gold" director Ibrahim Aydin expressed interest in implementing new projects in the jewelry sector. Representatives of "SMTR Group" studied opportunities for localizing the production of fuel tanks for vehicles.

Additionally, "Seyhan Ambalaj Makina" announced its readiness to open a packaging equipment production line based at the Kuva logistics center, and "Cabani Shoes" plans to open its third official boutique in Uzbekistan, in Fergana. In October, Khayrullo Bozorov met twice with "Heyal Holding" founder Vahdettin Heyal to discuss implementing 25 major projects at the planned industrial zone.

Clear proposals had been developed for six of these projects. In the coming days, a team of experts from "Heyal Holding" is expected to visit Fergana to work out project documentation in detail and begin construction preparations.

In conclusion, an international cooperation memorandum was signed between the Fergana regional administration and "Heyal Holding."
