Starting November 22, JSC "Uzbekistan Railways" is introducing new tariffs for trains on the "Nukus-Urgench-Nukus" route in order to improve the quality of passenger service on intercity trains. This was reported by the company's press service.
According to the information, train ticket prices for route 6354-6353 will be valid from November 22. According to the new tariffs, the ticket price for adults is 40 thousand soums, and for children - 21.5 thousand soums.
At the previous tariff, adults paid 20 thousand soums, and children - 11.5 thousand soums. That is, prices are almost doubling. Officials explain this change by improving the quality and comfort of service in passenger cars, as well as ensuring the efficiency of train traffic.
It should be recalled that this train on the route "Nukus-Urgench-Nukus" was launched on September 27 of this year. It departs Nukus every morning at 05:30, arriving in Urgench at 08:50. The return flight departs from Urgench at 3:30 PM and arrives in Nukus at 6:50 PM.
Passengers say that the train is of great importance in domestic tourism - hundreds of people travel between the two regions every day on this route.
