An important cultural visit was also made within the framework of the seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, held in Tashkent. The leaders of neighboring countries in the region, as well as the President of Azerbaijan, accompanied by the President of Uzbekistan, familiarized themselves with the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, led by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the historically significant Quran hall.

The Uthman Quran, which is especially valuable for the Muslim world, is kept here. This unique manuscript is one of the oldest sacred sources in the history of Islam, reflecting the spiritual unity of the peoples of the region and the civilizational spirit formed over centuries.

During the visit, the guests also familiarized themselves with several main departments of the center. In particular, the expositions "Pre-Islamic Civilizations," "First Renaissance," "Second Renaissance," and "New Uzbekistan - New Renaissance" aroused great interest among the leaders.

These sections comprehensively cover the rich scientific heritage of great scholars such as Imam Bukhari, Imam Termizi, Abu Mansur Moturidi, Bahouddin Naqshband, and their incomparable contribution to human development. Also, manuscript sources, historical publications, and translations into the ancient Uzbek language from the Samanid, Karakhanid, Khorezmshah, and Timurid periods are presented as an important part of the exhibition.

The visit to this educational center in Tashkent once again demonstrated the deep respect of the heads of state for the cultural unity of the region, common scientific heritage, and historical identity.
