The rules for commercial filming in Tashkent markets have changed dramatically

In accordance with the new decision of the khokim of the city of Tashkent, the tariffs for a number of services provided in large markets and shopping complexes of the capital have been revised. The new procedure directly applied not only to parking lots, but also to video and photo services for commercial purposes.

According to the document, the fee for cars in parking lots around the markets varies depending on the day of the week. On Saturdays and Sundays, the tariffs will be increased: up to 3 hours - 25 thousand soums, and for more than 4 hours - 50 thousand soums. On weekdays, these prices are kept much lower. According to officials, this approach is aimed at ensuring the peace of movement and reducing the excessive load on parking lots.

At the same time, the new decree introduces a separate fee for commercial video or video recording on the territory of markets. At the same time, it is planned to pay 5 million soums for each hour of preparation of a video, advertising material, clip, or any commercial content. This demand is mainly directed at bloggers, production studios, and advertising campaigns.

Most importantly, these restrictions do not apply to the media and foreign tourists. Neither permission nor payment is required from them. According to the statement, there are no obstacles to journalistic photography or videos for tourism purposes.

It is noted that the new procedure is aimed at improving the infrastructure of the capital's markets, increasing order and transparency of the activities of entities engaged in commercial content.
